The guided Addo River Safari allows guests to explore a different side of Addo and view game and birds on the riverbank while you drift down some of the most scenic parts of the Sunday’s River in a custom designed, comfortable and safe canoes (no paddling experience needed) but medium to fit leavels required.

REQUIREMENTS : A minimum of 2 people per tour, and accept children of all ages and will advise activities according to the ages of children. For single guests, please check if we are able to include them in with another group so that a single supplement rate is not necessary.

We had a fantastic time! The service was professional and friendly. Our guide, Gibson, was knowledgeable and a great communicator. The river was fast and the boats were high quality, making us feel completely safe and secure---especially with Gibson guiding us. The birdlife was amazing, from various types of kingfishers and bee-eaters to incredible sightings of fish eagles. We even got to see water monitor lizards swimming across the Sundays River! Crisscross Adventures is just 12 km from the Addo main gate, which was super convenient since we were staying in Addo Elephant National Park. We will definitely use them again.
