Guests have the opportunity to explore a section of the Addo Elephant National Park and the adjacent private game reserve, Schotia, all within a single morning during the height of summer. The crisp, early morning air in Addo creates the perfect conditions for spotting predators, viewing the Big Five, and encountering other species not endemic to Addo Park.
Logistically we may have to adjust the starting times for the safari to a slightly earlier than 05:30am, as summer in Addo, and our Sunrise in the peak of summer can be much earlier.
Please note that when booking via our online portal, Children’s tiered prices will be shown, as well as High peak rates between 16 December 2024 and January 2025.
REQUIREMENTS : A minimum of 2 people per tour, and accept children of all ages and will advise activities/vehicle specs according to the ages of children. For single guests, please check if we are able to include them in with another group so that a single supplement rate is not necessary.

Crisscross Adventures
It was an eventful drive through the park; we were able to see almost all of the Big 5, except for the hippo, which was underwater---we should have come earlier. Our driver was very friendly and helpful and explained a lot to us. - Eva

We had a wonderful open vehicle sunrise safari at Addo with Crisscross Adventures. It was a wonderful experience as we saw a lot of animals early in the morning, and the private game park was great as well (the area was very big and we didn't see any other touritsts there). The vehicle was perfect and the guide/driver very kind and knowledgable. The group was very small and my son (10 years old) still talks about this beautiful experience.
